Bare Bonz Custom Shop Guitars offers a full selection of pickup choices for each custom build. Indeed we go further in that we source hand wound pickups made right here in Canada and we are actively in the development of our own scatter wound assemblies based on Alnico 2,3,4 and 5 magnets. Our pickup routing and wiring is meticulous and this combined with quick-change connectors allows the guitarist full flexibility to change his/her instrument just the way they want it. Styles change, performances develop, Bare Bonz Custom Shop Guitars allows for change. It is what you should expect from a custom built guitar over a factory purchase.

Choose your guitars custom neck profile

We understand only one thing, if you don't just love our custom profile necks, then we don't deserve your business. Each and every Bare Bonze neck is custom profiles to your liking. A classic C or D profile, a graduated taper from the 5th fret, whatever it is we will make it. Our special finishes and our exquisite fretting and camber make playing silky smooth and quick. Riff after riff, solo after solo. It is effortless.

You also have the option to decide on neck lamination woods or to go with a conventional one-piece construction.

Fire guitars are visual wonders conceived from select book-matched seasoned wood fillets which are constantly sourced and updated in our inventory. Using innovative and environmentally friendly staining techniques we are able to create unique and beautiful wood tops for our fire series guitars. For stage presence alone they are worth their weight in gold but for the sheer joy of ownership as you open your case, there is nothing quite like it.

Choose your guitar's custom Finish

We hand airbrush our guitars and apply 20 coats of laquer to ensure an enduring and beautiful finish. You have full choice of custom finishing and Bonz will work with you to suggest the best visual options for the woods that you have selected. Often stains can make unexpected and beautiful surprises during the guitar finishing process as the wood fibres and grain react in their own unique way.

Precision parts define a finished and playable guitar.

Our selection of bridges and tuners is extensive and offers you, the guitarist, full control of strings and their proper intonation. Chrome, black and gold finishes are offered to give you the ultimate in choice and locking tuners and fully adjustable individual string anchor and height mechanisms ensure you are in impeccable tune. We even offer tuner setting angles to match your reach and hand size, now that's precision.
